Celebrate Tramore's Christmas Festival with a fun and festive activity for the whole family!
Join us this Friday in Mezze’s courtyard on Main Street for a Gingerbread Biscuit Decorating Session—the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit before the Late Late Toy Show.

Christmas Feast Night
Friday 13th December
We'll be mixing Christmas and Middle Eastern traditions for a special feast of sharing platters of dips, salads, breads, hot dishes and desserts served on long tables in Mezze. Our intimate space offers the ideal place for a get together with friends, family or colleagues.
Falafel Workshop
Sat 25th January
Whether you’re looking for some new plant-based recipes for you or the vegan in your life or you’re a fiend for falafel this workshop will take you through the secrets to making perfect falafel. Dvir and Nicola will demonstrate how to make two traditional falafel recipes, easy flatbreads and all the trimmings to go with them. Once you’ve gained all this insight you’ll sit down to a shared plates meal of falafels, salads, dips, sauces and flatbreads.
Middle Eastern Feast Demo
Fri 28th March
Friday night in Dvir’s parents’ home is the evening that the family gathers and a feast is prepared with mezze of dips, salads and bread, followed by the main course with rice/grains and more salad. We'll demo a feast of our favourite recipes to share with your family and friends.
Sample menu of dishes prepared on the night: challah, hummus, zhug (coriander and chilli sauce), baharat beef stuffed aubergines, bulghur wheat, roasted cauliflower with browned butter and smoked harissa, salads and sides, kadaif cake with mascarpone cream.
Middle Eastern Barbecue Workshop
Sat 14th June
Our most popular workshop to date. Build a fire and this couple will come. Nicola and Dvir have spent years barbecuing and cooking over fires in Israel where it’s a national pastime, and on Nicola’s family farm where they’ve made a fire-cooking haven. Meat is usually the go-to for most cooking on fire but this couple love the flavour it gives to vegetables too.
Dishes prepared on the night: mashweya (barbecued salad), flatbreads, lamb kebabs, chicken shishlik, charred cabbage with harissa & date dressing. For dessert we’ll prepare a Middle Eastern style summer pudding. Served with salads, sauces and sides.
Middle Eastern Flatbreads Demo
Fri 18th July
Join us for an evening of shaping, rolling, filling and baking a selection of our favourite flatbreads.
Sample menu of flatbreads prepared on the night: pita with za'atar, laffa, lachmanjun with spiced beef/aubergine. Served with salads and sides.
