Make some Middle Eastern street food at home with our shawarma spice blend. You can use either chicken thighs or mushrooms. Caramelise some onions, brown chicken/mushrooms and add a generous amount of the shawarma spice mix and some salt. Fry until cooked through. Serve with pita bread, salad, tahini sauce, zhug and/or amba sauce (see recipes).
Ingredients: paprika, cardamom, turmeric, cumin , coriander, black pepper, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice
Packed in a facility which handles wheat, peanuts, nuts & sesame.
