Sample workshops

Middle Eastern barbecue

Dishes prepared on the night: mashweya (barbecued salad), flatbreads, lamb kebabs, chicken shishlik. Served with salads, sauces and sides. There will be vegetarian and meat options prepared on the night.

Mezze & mimosas

The word mezze means a selection of small dishes served as appetisers in parts of the Middle East, the Balkans, Greece, and North Africa. In the Middle East, mezze is often served as a part of multi-course meals, while in Greece and the Balkans they function more as snacks while drinking or talking. This workshop will take you through some of our favourite mezze like hummus, baba ganoush and nibbles – all enjoyed with a couple of pomegranate mimosas.

Falafel & Flatbreads (vegan)

Whether you’re looking for some new plant-based recipes for you or the vegan in your life or you’re a fiend for falafel this workshop will take you through the secrets to making perfect falafel, easy flatbreads and all the trimmings to go with them.
