Mezze Cookbook: Middle Eastern Food to Share

The gathering of people in the shared experience of sharing a meal is what inspired the Irish-Israeli couple to start Mezze and Middle Eastern food is made to share; mouth-watering dips mopped up with fresh breads, crispy herby falafels, colourful fresh salads, slow-cooked meats and syrup drenched desserts served on platters in the centre of the table to dig in to.

We are so excited to be on the road to publishing our book this summer. We’ll have recipes and menus of dishes shared at Dvir’s home in Israel, with Nicola’s family in Ireland, with friends, and customers in Mezze. Mezze cookbook aims to share with you how to create Middle Eastern food which is easy to prepare and ready to share whether you want it for a family dinner, party, picnic or feast.

We’re raising funds for this book as we’ve decided to self-publish. Through our journey of setting up and growing our business we’ve found managing our projects ourselves meant that we could get the end result we were looking for. We’ve done this packaging our retail products (lavosh flatbreads and tahini cookies) and designing our deli in Tramore. Publishing a book however incurs many costs so we’re asking you to back our project to get it off the ground so we can share our recipes, stories and food with you and those you choose to share it with.

You can pick up a printed and signed hardback cookbook, order a digital copy or join Mezze at one of their dinners or demos to support their project.
